Cool Dude! #2

Branton loves wearing sunglasses. Here are pictures of Branton now and Brennan at about the same age posing in their sunglasses. Notice the hair difference!

Brody is 4 months old!!!

Brody turned four months old last Tuesday. Today he had his check-up and shots. I hate my babies having to have shots, but he did a good job with them. He cried but was fine as soon as I picked him up. He is a big boy! He is 26 inches long (80th%) and is 15 pounds 2 ounces (50th%). At the same age, Branton was 24.5 inches and Brennan was 25 inches. Branton weighed 13 pounds 9 ounces and Brennan weighed 13 pounds 15 ounces.
Brody is such a happy baby. He loves to play. He plays in the jumperoo (not much jumping yet), swings in his baby swing outside, plays on his play mat, and loves to laugh at his brothers. He likes being held and rocked but does a good job of entertaining himself. We fed him rice cereal the day before he turned four months, but he wasn't super interested, so we will wait a little longer to try more food. He is a great sleeper. Most nights he sleeps 10-12 hours. We love our baby boy!

Misunderstandings

Our kids don't always understand what we are talking about, and sometimes we just have to laugh.
Below is the last part of a conversation between Cole and Brennan.

Cole: This milk is for Brody.
Brennan: And Branton too.
Cole: No, this isn't for Branton. Brody drinks Mommy's milk. Branton drinks cows' milk.
Brennan (laughing): I drink boy's milk!

He didn't want to drink milk that belonged to cows; he wanted to drink the milk that was for boys.
